Born at the foot of Ditchling Beacon in the heart of the Sussex Downs, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, and one of the most iconic climbs in British cycling, featuring in the first Tour de France held in England in 1994 and in the annual London to Brighton bike ride in aid of the British Heart Foundation. Orro was founded by two men also born from Sussex, Ian Wilson and Paul Butler. Ian and Paul are also the owners of i-ride.co.uk, one of the most successful companies in the bicycle industry; a company developed from their Passion for all things in the world of cycling. From this Passion, Orro was formed with the specific intention to make bikes that they would want to ride.
